Rules Of Engagement

  
      The following document has been created in order to address the concerns from the 
Merczateer Armed forces in regards to the tactics of Vanguard.  Combat events between groups 
must be done in good faith or stability between the two groups will become null and void.  
Therefore Merczateers will place what it feels will govern the spirit of good faith in combat.
Members of the Vanguard Armed Forces are restricted to the usage of small arms weapons only, 
weapons which fire bullets on a straight trajectory (normal bullet firing guns), rather than 
weapons which fire bullets that curve and correct their trajectory towards their intended 
target. These weapons include the SCAR-H, MP-44, M16, VSM, Minigun, and F2000. 
Vanguard soldiers may use their standard issue grenade and breach HUDs to respect good faith 
in combat.

    Vanguard soldiers are prohibited from using any weapon which contains seeker technology 
such as the Panzershrek                 series; damage enabled objects such as bullets, 
grenades, etc, should fly on a set trajectory, either in a straight line until it strikes 
an object as it would with a bullet, or a standardized arc from the point of orgin.

    The Vanguard Luftwaffe is also prohibited to attack in aerial combat due to the flight 
behavior of the aircraft as well as          the weaponry that is employed, i.e. seeking 
missles.  This may be retracted at a later date pertaining to the status of the Vanguard 
aircraft.

    In addition to this the use of the Grenade Launcher and Flamethrower are also prohibited 
due to the size of the strike             radius of these weapons.

    Equipment that serves as a movement enhancer, such as a jump pack, jet pack, or gravity 
pack are also prohibited due to their lack of realism and the good faith combat.

    Infractions to these rules or using any other previously unacceptable tactics such as 
offsetting, recycling old teleports,avatar flying, exploiting broken scripts, and the use of 
griefer technology will be considered a bannable offense in the eyes of the Merczateers Armed 
Forces.

    The Merczateers will modify this mandate at their own discretion to conform to any and 
all new developments in Vanguard loadouts. Individuals breaking the regulations stated above 
will receive a single warning before being banned. After which they will be subject to the
